The Effects of Drop Jump Height on Post-Activation Performance Enhancement at Different Ambient Temperatures

چکیده
This study aimed to determine whether drop jump height will affect the post-activation performance enhancement (PAPE) effect at room temperature (RT) and low (LT) conditions. Twelve male strength-trained males participated in this study. Prior warm-up, subjects underwent a 30 min period of environmental adaptation. Different warm-up protocols were used different ambient temperatures help achieve level muscle activity body similar their daily training. After pre-test, each subject six experimental sessions either RT or LT conditions, respectively, which separated by least 72 h conducted same time day control for circadian influences on metabolism. conditioning activities, vertical (VJ) was re-tested 4 min, 8 12 passive recovery assess transient potentiation effects. Under 60 cm 90 jumps could induce PAPE, with PAPE being most significant (p < 0.01) 0.01), while not PAPE. VJ gradually declined over 0.01). However, although affected 0.05). demonstrated that can be impair induction, utilized conditions counteract effects athletic performance.

The Mediating Effects of Caffeine Ingestion and Post-Activation Performance Enhancement on Reactive Dive Times in Goalkeepers
Background. The reactive abilities of goalkeepers are crucial and may directly impact match results. Therefore, research on factors that may enhance goalkeeper performances during diving tasks (DT) and how these factors are mediated would provide valuable information for coaches and goalkeepers. Objectives. The purpose of this investigation was to: (i) assess the impact of caffeine consumption...
متن کاملThe effects of a unilateral gluteal activation protocol on single leg drop jump performance.
Warm-up protocols are commonly used to acutely enhance the performance of dynamic activities. This study examined the acute effect of low-load gluteal exercises on the biomechanics of single-leg drop jumps. Eight men and seven women (18-22 years old) performed 10 single-leg drop jumps on three separate days. The gluteal exercises were performed within the warm-up on day 2. Contact time, flight ...
